Yup - I put these in my taillight to replace older-style (non-SMD) LED bulbs I had in there. The older LED bulbs were brighter than the original incandescent, and the new SMD (13 watt) LED's are brightest of all - they really catch your eye. The Goldwing needs side-firing LEDs in order to fill out the entire taillight lens using the internal reflector - using the forward-firing LEDs you just end up with two little red circles on the lens.
