I bought these... $15 shipped. The outer ring is too big, but once you strip it off, the neck is a perfect fit for the light socket. siliconed in place.

I did see Mike, and he said that he wishes he could have come with me to Medford. Next time I will check with him... He asked how you were doing, I told him that you were finally away from your parole officer enough to start having some fun again...

I thought I would add a shot when its near dark, very please with the amount of light that these throw. Not like a driving lamp, but as "to be seen" lights, they rock...

I did the same conversion in 2011 and posted it on this forum. During the conversion of this forum to the new format the photos were "stripped" from the post. Fortunately my post on another forum still exists, here it is with lots of photos.

Those look GREAT! I'm assuming they could be used for not only the corning light but the driving light too.
