I bought the WLED X6 for my bumper lights on my 1100 that were just like your lights. They were not quite a bright as the orginals in the day, but at night you did not notice the difference.
I can't remember, but I think I bought the 12 or 24 LED 1157 bulbs for the taillight. As you know the GL1100 tail light is one piece with both bulbs. It worked good again the light was not quite as bright. Because LED are directional the sides and the license plate did not light up much at all. This is not as big an issue on the 1200 rear.
I would buy the bigger ones or buy the PCB series panel.
They did work great to lower the demand of power and It was expensive when added up.
