Hi there was a call on a previous for a look at LEDS on a GL1200,
hopefully I can load this photo:

they are called sidewinderz from here: http://www.radiantz.com/
I placed them on the small metal ridge, that runs just under the reflectors, ran the wiring inside, and attached them to the rear light wiring, near the bulb sockets.
They are water proof etc, and placing them is a simple matter, of just peeling tape off the back of the lights.
