New b here, I just bought an 02 1800 and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the controls on the handlebars should light up. When riding after dark having hard time finding controls for volume, curse, cb, ect.... Also the cruse control on/off switch is missing, can you buy just the switch (looks like one should just plug in) or do you have to buy the whole control head on handlebar? Thanks for any info you might have. :?

Welcome Glyn. The handlebar switches are unlit on the 02 models. I believe it was from 2004 they got lighted switches.
If the cruise button is missing and you are looking at a blank hole, then its a whole handlebar switch you will need. The button can't be bought seperately.

Yep looking a hole where switch used to be. Good news the cruise is in the on position so I may just make a patch over hole so water does not get in. Thanks for the help. :action:
