Hum, I should pay $0.50 a gallon more for premium ethanol free gas that my Wing was not designed to run on without evidence that the ethanol blended gasoline that I've run for the last ten years in my Wing is causing harm?
I think not.
Uh oh, looks like someone touched a nerve. ;)
Is there such a thing as "Ethanol-Free" in Canada?
any one use one the these ethanol test kits, claim to tell you what %
ethanol is in your gas?
I use them. I've a kit of my own, actually.

Yea, saw it at a local station here locally. I just don't see me paying fifty cents more a gallon though.
I tested the cheapest gas in town here, Gas Plus > E10 91 octane @ $3.369 per gallon = 4% Ethanol

The Get-N-Go on 12th & West (it's competitor) > E10 91 octane @ $3.499 per gallon = 9% Ethanol
The Get-N-Go has regular unleaded 87 octane (no Ethanol) @ $3.699 per gallon
The Get-N-Go has premium unleaded 91 octane (no Ethanol) @ $3.899 per gallon

____________

Most common logic would say different...
Testing does pay for itself.

Just out of curiosity, what do you do with the fuel after you are done testing it? With all that water in it, I can't see much use for it.:? And heaven knows the Green Police will get ya in a skinny minute if you don't dispose of something correctly.:lash:
I pour the test samples into my used oil which is usually in milk jugs. I take those periodically to the harzardous waste disposal here in town after I get 4 or 5 gallon jugs filled.
A fella use to come by and take the used oil to burn in his waste oil heater, but haven't seen him this winter. Thinking of making my own for my garage.

I good friend of mine that lives in Maryland actually heats his business (garage) with a oil heater. Works for him as he does lots of oil changes!
I import my gas from Libya they use bacon grease for top end lubrication and it smells good when i am running down the road.

Yep, I've a mobile home furnace that I'm going to use. I missed out on a couple of really nice plastic 55 gallon barrels for free a couple of weeks ago.
I've a plan... ;)
where can I go to see all my bike has, I guess you know by now am a girl and I don't even know where my gas tank is and what type of fuel to use:sadguy:
I need to know where is the hole to put gas in by bike and what kind of fuel to use please don't hate me my husband is out of town.
I use waste oil to heat my shop as well. I have room to store about 1800 gallons. Letting the heater run at a nice temperature all winter, all day/night, I used about 700 of my stockpile. Plus the oil changes that came in through the winter as well. This was not an extremely cold winter for us in Kansas City. Very few single digit overnight temps. I would hate to see a gas bill for heating this place through normal means of natural gas or propane.

You're at the right place.
One of the 1500 owners will point you in a direction to familiarize yourself with the bike.
Hand in there...
