I put the following in a post about the recent Houston area M&G. Figured I'd start a thread about the LSR to see if anyone will be making it this year. Perhaps our times/directions will be close enough to hook up somewhere for awhile. PM me if you are interested and/or available.

I am going on Saturday morning. Usually ride with about 6 buds but they are apparently not interested this year. Funny that a cage bud with a killer SS 454 wants a LSR pocket T shirt so I have to go if I ever want to ride in his 800 HP monster.

Sounds like beautiful weather, just a bit cold in the morning, if the weatherguys are even close to right on their projections. I usually hit the road around 7:30 and stop for breakfast on the way down. Figure to hit the seawall exhibits/tents, ride the Strand, people watch at the Strand, drive out to the west side of the island to see how it is coming on rebuilds, and then head home early to mid afternoon. Got an "adults" halloween party that night. In fact, wonderif the LSR promoters didn't snap to Halloween or if it was intentional? Lots of folks may not make it because of that.
