Hello, there is 69,000 on the bike. I have a left side blown head gasket. I need to change the valve seals and timing belts at the same time. I will do both heads.

Questions, how do I know if I should do any thing to the cylinders also?

it should not need rings or anything also should it? How do I check for this before I start tearing it down? Would a compression test be accurate with a blown head gasket?

Thanks!

Randy

Thanks for the help. Actually been riding it for the last 30,000 miles so everything else OK.

That is what I thought. Will removing the heads affect anything where the cylinder meets the case?
