The LTD should have had the intercom wires ran for it, unless PO took them off. Headsets you can get through Chromeworld or Seirra electronics. They handle the J&M. Ed sets are also available.

Look on the left side of the bike, up around the fairing pocket and see if the pigtail may be shoved in there, also under the seat in the rear.

I've got a multichanger that came out of my '87 Aspy that's just laying around. Don't know if it works as I didn't have a CB when I purchased it. You can have it if you like and if it works just make an appropriate donation to the forum and we'll call it even. PM me and let me know and I'll see if I can figure out the shipping cost. You have to have a multichanger as that is what you'll plug your helmet cords into. The intercom wires from the junction box and the plugs from the CB unit itself plug into the multichanger. Tricky posted the schematic for me here: http://www.gl1200goldwings.com/download/file.php?id=899&mode=view

If you're just looking for the helmet speakers/mic and connecting cords you can find a good set of J & M's at Sierra Electronics http://www.sierra-mc.com/categories.asp?cat=9 . You can call them about your specific application if you're unsure.

See, Tricky, you can teach an old dog new tricks!;) Tricky helped me get my intercom going.
