I'm looking for a couple of those pouches that are on the trunk of the Aspencade. I've looked online, including ebay with no luck, is there anyone who has an extra set that they would be willing to sell or know of where I can go to get them?

No, the ones I'm looking for are the matching storage bags attached to the trunk on both sides of the backrest.

I don't remember seeing those on the earlier bikes, if I remember right 84 was the first year for them but I might be wrong.

Yes, it was an item that was put on the Aspencades only, they will however just as easily attach to the Interstates.

Right, the ones I'm looking for are simply soft pouches that are on either side of the backrest.
