Loose glass in GL1800 left side mirror

Just got an '08 GL1800 trike and have a loose mirror (glass) which really shakes while driving. Don't want to break it, but how do I tighten it? Actually my husband is the rider and I am the passenger/navigator/question asker. Hope someone can help. Honda is a whole different ballgame for us.

Did you check the securing Phillips screw is tight? To get to teh screw, look up through the hole in the bottom of the mirror.

There's a screw out the bottom of the mirror housing.. That 1 screw holds the mirror in place.. You may have to loosen it to get the mirror in the right place and then tighten it up.............

It will make a difference if you have wind deflectors attached to your mirror. Then it's no phillips screw, it will tightened by using a small open end wrench.
