I also don't belive that loud pipes save lives, they do however wake up the Lawmakers. The funniest thing about guys with the loud pipes is half of them wear earplugs so they can't hear thier own bike. Now wearing earplugs on a bike that is too loud to allow the rider to hear other traffic has to a bigger saftey concern that the old "loud pipes save lives "B.S., I ride with a guy who has incredibley loud pipes, to the point I will not allow him to rides in front of me cause I can't hear myself think if he's ahead. And because of his earplugs, we can't talk at stoplights to decide where to go next.
Not that I like new resticting laws, but why can bikes run straight pipes and I can't run a performance can on my sled nor can I have straight pipes on my truck????

So driving alongside a car that's already being driven by a dummy, and Lord knows there's plenty of them, and then scaring the driver with your LOUD PIPES you think is a good idea???? Let me know when idea bites you in the a$$. I like the loud horn idea, then only the intended idiot gets the noise andnot everyone else.
