I think you are gonna get alot of flack for that loud pipes save lives comment here.

I wanted louder pipes but it was for my own personal enjoyment. I went that route and I am chaging them again for quieter ones. Stil think a loud obnoxious horn and safe riding skill saves alot more lives and ears than loud pipes do.

400 miles of these loud pipes and the splitting headache I have is telling me to change back to quiet pipes.

I know there is a manufacturer that gives the best of both worlds. Loud pipes when wanted and flip the switch and the pipes turn quiet again, but not sure they are made for our models and in a respectable 0rice range.

I think the harley ribbing is funnybut what about the new or regular breed of harley owners that ride thier machines quiet and safe.
Many of them are members of this site. I hope they know what you are reffering too when you say those harley riders.
My Buddy is a harley Owner, My father in law is a harley biker. Loud pipes bike running like crap and leaking all oiver the place. If my fund would allow, I would have a ROAD KING, A honda Gl1500 and Valkyrie and a Dirt Bike.
I would also like to rent a GSXR with full gear and see what a full wheelie feels like
