New to the forum since a few days, now. Just got my first Wing a very nice clean 1997 with 55k miles. Registered, tagged, and insured all I must do now for CT is take a class and get a piece of paper. 100 miles for me and I am really in love.

I am one to pick the forums for ideas and suggestions, I hate hard bags, especially ones that resemble Samsonite luggage! I am a leather worker so I am hopefully going to find some direction here. I want to go to a semi-rigid leather bag set-up that might use the existing rack. I will spend the summer looking and begging for yous guys input and do the work through next winter.

55K miles, jeez the bike is just getting broke in!
When I picked up my Wing last spring the wife asked me if I was gonna get my "M" endorsement. Haven't had one since I started riding in 1971...LOL
Well I was told that if I didn't have an endorsement on my license, insurance wouldn't cover me in case of an accident. Well then, Took the Advanced riders course from the local HD dealership which gave me the certificate to turn into the DMV. Done deal, + I learned a few things about riding that enlightened me to some new skills, BONUS!
Anyway, Welcome aboard and hope your travels are all safe ones on your new Wing!
