That site mainly lists ebay auctions.

I was hoping a member here had inside direct information?

I am currently watching 8-18 bike salvage sellers,to see if a near mint condition Trip computer pops up.

The two I have are sun bleached.

Thanks for the help John.

I wonder if there are any places that can restore one of those.

Dennis. some years this board had some members who did just that (Had some made)

None I contacts had any remaining for sale.

The last guy I spoke to couldn't remember if he had any stored away.

I'm getting to the end of the restoration, and this is something that I want to correct. (If at all possible)

Not the one i was thinking of, dont remember seeing one like that in UK. We do have over here a couple of firms that specialise in repairs to lcd dashboards in cars perhaps you can find one of those who can help you out.

I am in need too. I have talked to a couple of vinyl printers about it and no one has been willing to take it on. if anyone figures something out I have a printable sheet that can be used as a template.

I .
am in the process of making this faceplate for my bike. I am working on the prototype to ensure fit etc.. It will be made out of 1/32" thick dark brown plastic. The lettering on them will be extremely close if not exactly like the original. It will be bent to the proper shape, cut to fit, with letters that let the light through (in the proper colors) and all the openings already cut out. When it is finished I can post a pic. I would be willing to make more than mine if, considering all of the above I can get an idea of how many people would need them and what you would consider paying for one as described

Don. I got it on ebay. These are what you are looking for.

I used a dremmel tool to cut the shank off to get the boot off.

I only had to trim off the first outer ring to fit in the faceplate. (About the size of a quarter)

It fits in the recessed hole on the light emitting panel.(Gently pry it up-it will come out as it releases from the face plate)
