I have an old rack that (might be Hondaline) bolts up to the side and has a backrest built in. Besides being kind of clunky, I thought it was not right for the lines of the bike. But, I would like to have something on the bike for storage. Can you tell me if the type of racks that I see occasionally on ebay  might fit? Where would the bracket attach? this example does not come with an attachment, but is the type I would prefer:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rear...ryZ84147QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Well first off, that rack is built to mount on top of a trunk...unless your bike has trunk on it, that kind won't fit.

There's a guy on eBay who has some NOS racks that you could try. I can't remember where I saw them, but they were on an eBay store.
