Actually I mispelled cockle! It's a jumping clam much the same as scallops. Cockles are fairly abundant on Puget Sound and the British Columbia coast in the US. Apparently they must also exist somewhere around DublinIreland where sweet Molly Malone lived!:baffled::baffled:What is a cockel?????:baffled::baffled:

I've caught a few of those too, mostly Dungeness, King, and Tanner!I am sure glad to here what cockles are. I thought they might be something like catching the crabs.:goofygrin:
