Geezer, seeing that you are from Tyler, might think about Texas Highways. Although it is not a motorcycle mag, I keep all the previous issues and when we get out and about on the weekends, they are a good help in coming up with cool and out of the way things to go see and do.

Here it was I though I had this corner of the world alone and to myself. Hello kips and welcome to the forum from Bridge City.

Hmmmmm, for Motorcycles in Texas, it's gotta be Ride Texas. It is only 6 issues a year though. You can find it at most newsstands and grocery stores as well.

I'm quite familiar with that one, though I'm not currently subscribing to it. I do need to renew it. Great magazine.

Also if you stop by Texas Dept. of Highway office, they have a list of events happening all over the state.

Sam, I will pick up a copy of Ride Texas on the shelf somewhere and give that one a close look. I've already sent for a trial issue of Rider Magazine.

Thanks for the input fellows.

I made the decision to buy my ST1300 based on their review of the top three sport touring machines. They were also on target about riding gear. MCN is a magazine that you will not throw away.
