Well, got clearance from the lung doctor to go home, now waiting for the admitting doctor to come by and clear me.

Been hacking up some flem pretty good for the last 3 days since getting in here Saturday and finally hacked up an english pea that apparently went down the wrong pipe last week when I grilled pork chops and had the peas and some corn with the chops for supper a week ago on Thursday night and all these crap started with my breathing on Saturday.

And no, I haven't been anywhere near a Wendy's.:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Now who would've though a single english pea would put me in the hospital.:shock::shock:

Holey Moley! Glad you're okay, Bagmaster......

Think how that'd look in your obituary.......

"Bagmaster, an accomplished motorcyclist, died today after inhaling peas."

:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Darned English Peas..... cause trouble everywhere, huh?

What's an "English pea?"

Glad you're okay, really..... Don't we have a ride yet to do, together, something called the Blueridge Parkway?

Yes, we do so jump on that St and head on down, still warm riding weather down here and the trees are ready to turn.

Called Linda a while ago to let her know to stand by to come get me as soon as the doctor releases me. She told my my rear brake pads came today from Crescent Moons so I got work waiting on me when I get home and this rain clears out.

We are all glad that the rogue legume did not do you in. If you are still going to Fletcher this weekend, I might see you there. Jay

Yea, still going and working the PGR booth/table on Saturday from 12-1400.

Uhhh, it'd be embarrasing to die from an English Pea. In fact, I forbid it. The embarrassment you'd bring on your family would be unbearable.

You're demise will have to be much more imaginative and entertaining, but hopefully will be in the distant future as well.

;)

Just told my wife of your incident with the english pea in the air pipe ordeal. She said english peas aren't supposed to go down that hole. I'd listen to her she went to med school and came up with that. Seriously I'm glad you're better, that could have turned out a lot worse.

After hearing about this, I'm safe, I go out of the way to take any peas out of anything I get that has them. Don't like them slimy, gushy things. Glad your OK. :shock:

Glad to hear you're not pea'd off any more sheriff!:cooldevil: I don't like the things, I do like the thin snow peas, the edible pods are good without those nasty little round things. Anyway next time you feel like taking a pea, do it in the bathroom.

All these peas reminds me of a little joke.

What's the difference between a Rich Scotsman, a Poor Scotsman and a dead Scotsman?

A Rich Scotsman has a canopy over his bed.

A Poor Scotsman has a can o pee under his bed.

And a dead Scotsman canna pee at all.

Glad your on the mend.
