Ah, a subject that I know well!
My first Aspencade had so much hair, grass, crap and pee from mice that the fairing was totally filled. The aluminum of the electronics were dissolved.
Anyway, I put Bounce fabric softener sheets in the fairings now and apparently, the mice don't like it much. No problems.
