Went to go for a ride and found I had no radio display. Turns out the evil little Mice had gotten in my fairing again and chewed the wires. Second time the little monsters have done it.. Wonder if they make a Mouse Alert that works as well as the Deer Alerts;) They got 4 wires in the radio harness, and 2 wires to the voltmeter. Guess it's time for the soldering iron once again...

put a few mothballs in a cloth bag and put inside your fairing , mice dont like them either.
I was thinking about doing that. Wasn't sure it would help. If nothing else they probably smell better than the mice..:)

Moth balls work. So do snakes.

What boggles my mind is how they get in there in the first place. My fairing has no open holes.
I don't know either. I just put it back together. It all works fine again. Looked for a hole and the only place I can see is the big hole where the wiring harness goes in, or maybe they squeeze in through the vents. Not much space in either of those. Sneaky little things.

Well I found a Black Rat Snake in the garage today and politely asked him to leave. Actually I took him away from my garage and let him go. Maybe the mice won't need to hide in my fairing for awhile...
