Moth balls work. So do snakes.

What boggles my mind is how they get in there in the first place. My fairing has no open holes.

I don't know either. I just put it back together. It all works fine again. Looked for a hole and the only place I can see is the big hole where the wiring harness goes in, or maybe they squeeze in through the vents. Not much space in either of those. Sneaky little things.

Mice can squeeze their bodies through an opening as small as 1/4 in.

Well I found a Black Rat Snake in the garage today and politely asked him to leave. Actually I took him away from my garage and let him go. Maybe the mice won't need to hide in my fairing for awhile...

From my own experiences with those hairy little pukes, the bounce didn't work well. Tried the sticky sheets and got one or two, but they learn fast not to go one them (might have something to do with the rotting corpses by the time you find them). But the mothballs - they worked mighty fine. Still working for that matter. It doesn't take many either. Put a few in strategic spots and you should be in great shape. After a few repairs, that is.
