Dad bought a " Terra Torque " from Montgomery Wards. It had a Briggs 5hp.

I rode the snot out of this thing up and down the dirt roads outside of Denver. Not the first bike ever for me, but I sure enjoyed the heck out of this thing...

Here's a similar one, this one seems underpowered, to me...:raspberry:

That's the new and improved Eco Friendly model. No harmful fumes (from the bike):ROFL: Just think what you would've saved on gas had you owned this model.

Ah...a blue 4 speed with clutch. I ride a candy topaz orange one as well.

This one is pretty much all original except for tires, brakes, muffler and a few other small items. Did rebuild the engine.

Not so fast Grasshopper Doug....it is a Blue/Green H model:bow:
The Green just doesn't come out in digital piculation....Nice topaz.
I have a H topaz I picked up 3 years ago just waiting for my inspiration to kick in. Got the motor rebuilt, the bars are perfect and so is the headlight bucket, and I do have the seat recovered too. Just need to blast it and paint it. Think I will be going with the Emerald Green on this one tho...
I like it when a tall guy rides a Honda 70 like those, it looks like a collection of elbows and knees going down the road.
Ubar, I think there are many people who flogged those in the 70's... count me as one of those. Oh what fun they were, but they did cause a lot of blood to be split also. :grin2:
Who didnt ride those as a kid? The Trail 70's and 50's were bullet proof.. you could ride them for ever.. knew a guy with a Trail 50cc that was 20 years old.. dang thing wouldnt quit running.
