Was telling my wife how close Branson is to where we will be and she wants to go to Dixie Stampede 1 night while we are down there, we are both planning to come as long as nothing goes wrong this year

What about campgrounds? Anything lined up for the people that don't want the motel?

Camping: this is the only place, and it is beautiful, I have a spot reserved for my Toy Hauler.

Would anyone else possibly be interested in going with us to to the Dixie Stampede? I believe I am taking vacation time for this and riding down a couple days early in case we can't get there during the meet and greet

Went there 20 years ago this fall. It was fun but not cheap. Do I remember seeing they took Dixie out of the name because it might offend someone?

Just went to the buy tickets for Thursday or Friday of that week for the Stampede and they are $49.99 regular seats or preferred at $54.99 ea.
If we decide to go we will probable choose preferred since its not a whole lot more. Didn't realize how much it was but may be last chance to see something like that for us. Not sure that cost will be same at the door tho so don't hold me to that price

I remember when the X and I went there in 99 we had bought tickets in advance, don't remember if they were preferred or not but we had pretty good seats. IIRC they were about $80 for the 2 of us and at the door was quite a bit more.

Who is putting this on? Aug in AR is HOT.
We are more or less, have been for 15 straight years. It's not so bad up in the northern part at the end of august, usually.
