Put original windshield back on and installed the hand wings I got from a member. Have to make some adjustments to the wings as the right side one hits the lower fairing wing a little and both need to be closer to the grips and adjusted for the little bit of wind coming off the bottom of them.

Looks great, still looking for the pics of a newly installed sidecar.

Not gonna start on that till Sunday. Gotta PGR welcome home mission to do Saturday at the airport.

I just now finally got all the new airlines installed on the Progressive rear shocks and holding air again. Had to get those fixed before I could install the sidecar as they would throw the sidecar setup off.

Keeping the wind off the hands is a #1 priority for me. If my hands get numb then I'm miserable.

Another solution I found:
I had a set of bars with about 3" more pullback and about 1" more rise in 7/8".Buckhorn style bars I believe they're called. I used them on my Shadow for a while. It slid my hands right back inline with the fairing so as the wind coming past the edge of the fairing barely clips the bottom of the grips. Works great, my hands aren't out there in the wind anymore and the cables reached. I don't know why Honda didn't get the grips out of the wind from the factory. Who needs a full fairing that doesn't at least cover your hands? JR

You know, I've been thinking the same thing as far as handlebars go. Find me some that pull in a little more with maybe a pair of setback risers like i had on my old 750. They raised the bars up an inch and back an inch. World of difference on how the bike handled. In fact I still had that old 750 up until about a year ago and I gave it to my brother's SNL without even thinking about taking those risers off it, when I did think about going and getting them off the bike he had already cut the whole front end off and sold it to a guy building a custom trike.
