Never done a poll before , so thought I'd try it. Which runs along the lines of these two products, I haven't used before, so thought I'd try it. Which brings us to the point at hand for a poll as to which YOU think is the better?

Apparently I may have found a source for Seafoam in Winnipeg. Apparently Piston Ring carries it, along with MMO. My wrench has also indicated another product as an addative to the gas tank. It is called OPTI II. Apparently the Wing Riders are buying it up by the case.

I even want to hear from the people who have never used either!!!!:baffled:

Or other products. I've seen some mention ATF (Automatic Tranny Fluid) Another I've heard of which is supposd to be a hot item in Winnipeg by wing riders is Opti II.

Over the last year or so, MMO or Seafoam have been mentioned so many times. Lets hear about bad experiences.....good.......whatever!!!!!

Exavid says it's good on pancakes!!!!

Hell.....I did this so I could make an informed descision to use it!!!!!!

Well, I went and bought a case of the Seafoam. Piston Ring is apparently the only one that sells it in Canada and list on the shelf for $12.00 a can before taxes(14%=$13.68) My buddy that is a manager at Piston Ring said they're getting e-mails from the east coast in Canada wanting to have it shipped out to them. My cost worked out to $9.00 a can. Poured 1/2 a can into the 96 (which is parked) to stabalize the fuel. Poured 1/2 can into the tank on the 82 and 1/2 can into the oil. I think I notice a difference in the sound, and performance of the bike. The stuff smells like coleman camp fuel.

So.....anyone ever use coleman camp fuel????? How about on your pancakes???:stumped:

Still can't find anyone here who sells MMO.

I used 1/2 can in the gas and the other 1/2 in the oil. Any suggestions whenI should do an oil and filter change? I've got about 400klm / 240 miles since I added it.

Kyle I just got off the phone with about all of the top prospects in my area that I could think of-including Napa, and nobody has ever heard of any of those products-or they are too lazy to go look. Nova engine rebuilders is probably very similar to your Piston Ring and all they use is STP.

So I guess that I will have to hope that I will be able to use ATF as a sub. like SilverDave says. I am also pretty sure that I voted that I have never used the stuffs.
My bud at Piston Ring told me he has received several e-mail enquiries from people out in your neck of the woods wanting to know if they would ship Seafoam out there, apparently they don't.

I believe both products (seafoam & MMO) have been around since the 1940's
