had the fuel leak in a previous thread and thanks to you guys had it sorted in no time by cleaning the jet.now i'm only running on three cylinders, checked for a spark and that was there so I thought easy, one jet was stuck open so this one could be stuck shut.no,clean as a whistle and working well.i also noticed the bowl was full of petrol so now i'm stuck.
checked the manifold and seals seam good.
any help appreciated as always.
cheers,Bash

And you have checked the drain plug and there is fuel in that carb, right?
yes when I took them apart the bowl was full
The bowl can be full and a jet still be plugged. Idle jets can be a bear to clean.
I took the two jets out with the slots in and blew them through, the smaller one only seemed to have a tiny hole through it and cleaned the needle,is there anything else I can clean out?
cheers bash
just been running her at a few higher revs and the exhaust got hot along with the others making me think its a tickover problem i'm having, when I took the smaller of the two jets out it had a very small hole in it but I could see through it.
any ideas?
cheers,Bash
