I was a regular user of Mobil 1 (car version) for years in my Shadow 1100 and later the Wing. Switched a couple changes to Mobil Twin for the Shadow but didn't notice any difference and was suspicious of its true added value since the containers just made the same general claims as any other bottle of oil, so went back to the car version. Then switched to Delo 400LE based on recommendations here and notice no difference in shifting or mileage, just notice the $$$ savings, so will probably stick with that.
Not sure if it's making a difference either way with what's going on inside the engine, but with me routinely changing it out every 3K or so I've been told most oils would be fine. Was thinking of using olive oil to see what riding a Ducati is like but....sorry, never mind....
