hmmm, maybe I have to detour thru there on the way to the Blue Ridge spring rally?
If you do John, let me know in advance - The Blueberry Pig is "just up the road a'piece" from me and I'll buy you lunch there!!!

I haven't owned my Goldwing long enough for my gut to grow to the proper proportions yet, but there is Patty's Plate, 19 mile house on the way up to Mt. St. Helens. They have Elk burgers.

Then there is the Yak burger place on the Mt. Rainier loop.

The Old Plantation Restaurant in Medicine Park, OK. No address because you can't miss it. Just keep putting around and you'll pass it.
Just a little south of Meers OK where the Meer's burger reigns. I like the burgers better in Medicine Park!

Ku-Ku 915 N Main St, Miami, OK. Good burgers!

Pete's Place 120 SW 8th, Krebs, OK. AWESOME Italian food AND the brewery for Choc Beer is located on the premises.

Branding Iron BBQ & Steak House, 623 Sherwood Ave, Mena AR

Great riding any way you come to get there.

And in my hometown.....Gordys Hi-Hat in Cloquet MN. 55720. Gordy opened it up 60 years ago and still owns it, with his son now. Great burgers and fish.

Miners Burgers in Yakima WA. <<- Link to google images

Burger Tyme review of Miners

Miners has a large indoor and outdoor eating area. Multiple times per year there are bike and car shows there. Food is cooked after you order, not before. But because of the 20 plus people in the kitchen the service is fairly quick. Expect to get you food in about 12 to 15 minutes after you order. Warning..... very large portions....expect to not finish. They also have a huge list of milk shakes!!!

Yesterday, Cynthia and I dropped in at a brand new restaurant in Claremore, OK.

To say that we were pleased doesn't quite do this place justice. it reminds me of some good ole Southern Comfort eating places that we used to frequent out in West Texas when we lived in that area. Now they are in our Okie/Arkie land also.... neato....

Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico Southern Comfort Food

Cotton Patch Cafe

Claremore, Siloam Springs, AR and Springdale, AR

Locattions => https://www.cottonpatch.com/locations/

Texas must be their homeland, because several locations there are being remodeled....
There are 49 restaurants in Texas alone!

So, our next RTE needs to be one of the Arkie locations me thinks.
I am voting for Siloam Springs

The Chicken Fried Steak covered the entire platter, my Catfish was thick and juicy, but I prefer the Chicken Fried Steak over the Catfish.... the way they cook it is a huge slab of side, and I much prefer my Catfish cooked in small tender little pieces.
