I agree with John
I'm glade you are OK and the bike can be fixed. I just hear about to many hit and run drivers all the time I wish more people where accountable for their actions and did the right thing.
I hate hearing that your bike is damaged and will take time to get repaired. Just be thankful that you are okay and still able to tell us about it.

so sorry to hear this news and we trust that you are alright yourself. I hope one of the dogs wasn't travelling with you at the time. Was this on your return leg from the Treffen?
Give us a ring sometime and update us. This is not news I wanted to hear about our friend.
Hopefully we will see you again and in good spirits before too long. :waving::waving:
Thanks y'all. I know that we were very lucky indeed. The boy was allready behind the fence when it happend. Further inspection learned that the damage is the bodywork and not the frame. It will cost me an arm and a leg but that's better than loosing one of those.
I about had the same thing happen to me yesterday on the way to the doc. An older gentleman turned his head and looked at me before he pulled right over in front of me, only problem was the guard rail and me were right behind his "B" pillar. I slammed my brakes on when I saw him look at me because I just got a feeling he was going to do it. Luckily he sped up and I slowed down enough to avoid me getting squashed.
