:clapper: I can't believe it, but for the first time in 10 years my garage is clean to the point that I can park our new Chevy Astrovan and my Goldwing in there with room to spare. Of course, to do this I needed to buy a storage shed and level a part of the back yard and work harder than I do at work. But I have room now.

Now when my 66 Mustang is restored within thenext 6months, the van gets kicked outside again and in goes the Mustang along with the bike.

I could even park REDWING'S Honda 50 in there.

At least you only had to buy a storage shed. I had to buy a whole new house! LOL

I'll be down for a few days in a month or so while we move.

Hey Jerry, any chance you could just pop over for a week or two to have a blitz on mine? I need you to make space for the following: 1500SEi, CBR1000, GPZ500S, Saab turbo convertable, Honda Accord, Ford Escort, Vauxhaull Corsa, and not forgetting my Mercedes van. Oh, by the way did I mention, we only have a double garage!!

I'm always amazed at people who have nice garages and use them to store crap they never use anyway. Those places are made for keeping good machinery good.

Paul,

Among other things, I am a home inspector....you would be amazed with regular frequency if you followed me around. I'd say at least half the garages I see are difficult to even walk through.

If it includes a ticket for two and someplace for me and my wife to stay, we can come for the Christmas Holidays. I'll close my business for a few weeks and pop on over. Let's see, at one time my collection was Honda 550cb, Honda Passport(Red Of Course), Honda Accord, 64 Ford Galaxies Convertible, 67 MGB and 61 MBZ 220s plus 3 bikes and I forgot what else. Sounds like we both needed a 10 car garage and a 3 bedroom house.

Lol!! I have two garages, one for the car and one for the Wing. Either is clean without anything stored there. But I also have something called a Basement!

Ah to have a basement ( or cellar as we call them) well actually it is probably a good thing we haven't got one!!

Jerry, you are more than welcome to come and stay, we have the room in the house, as long as you don't mind climbing over the building site, I am a typical builder, everything half done in my own place!! As for the tickets to get here, I am afraid they are down to you, if I get on ebay and clear all the junk I hoard, I could probably afford to pay your way!!

Johnapool, I am afraid you are not envited to my house, you would probably condemn it immediately, you will just have to stay in the Hilton Park Lane London.

Exavid, you have loads of time on your hands, so you have no excusses for an untidy garage or house!!!

Blimey, Pete, you'd shuffle me off to a place like the Hilton? Whatever happened to British hospitality??? :baffled:

So sad to read about the bomb over there. Those damn people are hard to understand. Hope you and your family are not involved.

Nah, I was only joking, and it was said before I heard the news, so I certainly wouldn't send you to the Hilton London now. I am also concerned that humans can do this to one another, I don't use the word shocked, because I am not, shock is something you experience when something unexpected happens, like an accident on the bike etc. What still gets to me even after all these years, is the painand suffering for those who are left behind as widows and orphans, the innocent ones. Bombing and stuff we are well used to over here, Guy Fawkes tried it hundreds of years ago, and we will soon be back to normal as a country.

My family not directly involved, but their jobs have meant that indirectly they are. Nothing too heavy though.

Anyway I thank you for your concern and we can both hope it calms down, and wish that no countries had to suffer such atrossities

Hey Pete, Thank you for the invite. We may take you up on it, but not this year. I would love to come over and play, but I think my wife would think different of my choice of fun.

Woke up this morning to hear the news about the bomb blast. We stand beside you in this fight, and we morn your loss. Ourprayers are with those who have experience the loss or injury to a love one or friend.

I often think that if I had one wish, I would wish that anyone who intends to do harm to another, that it is they who suffer the harm and not the other person. Wouldn't that get rid of wars, crime and suffering quickly. But alas, I have not found a bottle or lamp on the shores of California as yet.

Thanks Jerry, We are a nation used to being bombed and will be up and running in no time I am sure, but the pain will be with those affected for the rest of their lives.

Thankfully I have heard that my relatives are not affected, I will have a look for that wish bottle, 'cuz I am more of an eye for an eye type, rather than saying that a whole nation/religion is to blame.

Now if you are coming over to stay, I will go and make a list of jobs for you in the garage!! I am a sweet and innocent English boy, who hasn't a clue what "playing" you might have in mind, but I am sure we can keep both you and your good lady entertained!!

Playing being building a new garage or riding around the countryside on a bike. Not the other type of playing.

The only problem with riding around the countryside is my wife won't ride with me.

Well Jerry, that's it sorted then, your missus and mine can sit on the potio, watching the foxes, badgers, birds and other assorted wildlife, whilst we go play on the bike.

My wife used to ride on the bike, but now she is an ex-wife and the girlfriend is a newbie to bikes and unless she gets the bug, I am sure she will be happy to entertain yours, in whatever ways take their fancy!

If you are any way a size large to extra large then the clothing is sorted, foul weather is always expected, and I am sure we could plan a route to take in a quaint English pub or two. If the girls are bored, there is always the garage to sort out, I have made a list, but it might get modified, as 'er indoors would throw out more than me.

Now all you have todo is start saving the pennies, sorry $$$$. If your goodlady likes clothes shopping then mine will make a good "tour guide" as she does like clothes shops!!! The airport is close by and no problem with pick up, you will soon get used to being on the right side of the road, well, I mean the left, but it's still the right side.
