HI, MY NAME IS MICHAEL GAMMON I LIVE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, MY HOBBY IS CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING WHICH I DO TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD, I HAVE SHOT FOR ENGLAND TWICE,WON GOLD MEDDLE,AND BEEN TEAM CAPTAIN, SHOT FOR GREAT BRITON TWICE WON TWO SILVER MEDDLES. I BROUGHT A HONDA 2002 GOLDWING 1800 SOLO, THEN HAD A, C- S- C COBRA KIT FITTED TO IT. HAD A FEW PROBLEMS WITH IT AT THE START BAD STEERING SHAKING,I WAS TOLD TO HAVE A POWERTRAC FITED TO IT, WHICH I DID HELP A LITTLE BIT. THEN I CAME ACROSS A COMPANY CALLED WINGSTUFF, AND PURCHASED A DAMPER FROM THEM FOR GOLDWINGS, FITTED IT MYSELF TOOK ABOUT 4 HOURS WITH ALL THE STUFF I HAD TO REMOVE, BEFORE I GOT TO THE TOP OF THE FOLKS,IT IS AN EXCELLENT PIECE OF KIT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT NO MORE STEERING SHAKING IT HAS 22 ADJUSTMENTS. BEST REGARDS MIKE

Welcome Michael to the forum, from this side of the pond, sunny Southern California, USA.

It sounds like your steering stem nut is not adjusted right. You should not have a lot of shake, as I'm sure you are aware of already. That should also help eliminate the shake.

Did you have araked Triple Tree installed when you did your conversion. Most that have triked swear by the rake kits as well as I. Made it like power steering to boot.

You should bring this question up in the tech forum a lot more will see it and may have some usefulsuggestions for you.

On a side note, if you don't use all capitals it makes it a lot easier to read your posts.

Again, Welcome to the forum.

welcome to the forum Michael it is nice to have new UK members on here. i also have an 1800 trike with the csc conversion on. (seegallery for picks)it has powertrac on i do not have any steering problems . Have you got any type of tyre sealants in your tyres as i find that this gives a vibration problem at speed. and have not put it in this time. we are of to Matlock this weekend.
