Alright, here is another question about my recent acquisition.

I have seen on ebay a kit that is used to make your gauges looking good again. I want to know if anyone has used this kit and how it worked for them. I have a 76 LTD and want to keep the original gauges; the think is that they are badly weathered. I want to know how far ill get with the kit, and what the kit includes.

The biggest problem with my gauges is that the glass window is shattered on both of them. Does the kit include 2 replacement glass pieces? If not are they hard to find and are they hard to replace?

So yea, that’s the story and the question, any information would be helpful, or other recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well.

It would help if you posted the ebay link for the kit.

Well, they do look good and the feedback is 100% so far with good reviews for the product. My main concern would be how good the instructions are for opening the gauges without damaging them beyond repair.
