The numbers are just a way to attach a posted response to a picture for reference.
One answer with two or three unknown or open running pictures for example, could getconfusing real quick.

And I agree. I have two beautiful daughters.:) They are my priority :)and the light of my day.:)
But on the other hand, their mother has been out of the picture for most of their lives, and I've never married.
I enjoy, and have enjoyed my freedoms too much to let another individual impede on my lifestyle. May be someday that will change, but I've said that for years... :)

Well you're close, it's not Sharon Gless but "Hot Lips Houlihan" otherwise known as Loretta Swit no less and Tyne Daly.

Movie Star Beauty #20: A girlfriend of the great Andy Gibb, and co-starred in, what I believe to be, the greatest car flick of all time... What a smile..

You won't be able to name this lady, but let's get away from air brushed publicity pics for a moment. Pictured at her place of work in 1944 doing her bit in the fight against Hitler by working in the Lockheed plant at Burbank California. A real stunner IMHO.

Unashamedly stolen from another site.

Rosie the Riveter was most closely associated with a real woman, Rose Will Monroe, who was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky.;)

That's true. I had thought of Rosie before looking at the picture.

But, looking at the picture, I think this is someone else.

Wishful thinking Cap'n, but she may have been a lousy cook.
Sure was pretty though.

I wonder who this girl is, it's from the Repository: Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division Washington, D.C. 20540 USA http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.pnp/pp.print

One of the many unsung hero s of WW2

Part of the cowling for one of the motors for a B-25 bomber is assembled in the engine department of North American [Aviation Inc.]'s Inglewood, Calif., plant.
SUMMARY: Woman framed by circular opening of cowling, hands through opening, working on lower section.

Hey Foodman while checking out Veronica Lake, I was reading about her in Wikipedia, about halfway down the main page there is a line
"In Alfred Hitchcock's suspense film Shadow of a Doubt (1941), the young daughter named Ann says her prayers before going to sleep... "God bless Mama, Papa, Captain Midnight, Veronica Lake, and the President of the United States."
I wonder if that's how CaptainMidnight got his name? :)

V Lake

Boy was that a tragic ending..

She alwayshad a hair curl over 1 eye and the women all tried to copy it.. It was causing problems with the women working in the plants during the war.. The war effort asked her to do an ad where she was working in a war machinery plant andhad her cut the curl off.. She did and that was the beginning of the end for her career..

Although Ihave my own Secret Squadron and we do fight the Forces of Evil, my moniker derives from the opposite end of that spectrum.
