Cobra57 good to see you are coming to visit us this summer. I have a 2019 Tour 6 speed and I hope you like yours more than I do. Wish I could sell mine. You will enjoy your stay here in AR.

Why are you so unhappy with yours Dodge? I rode both when I did my test rides and I liked them both. I live just 60 miles from Eureka Springs so I love riding in Arkansas. Don't get down as far as Norfolk Lake much but looking forward to it.

I'm 6-2 and controls are not handy. Ride is much to cramped for me. Throttle response in tour or sport mode is erratic at best. Ride is not that good, bumps tend to want to throw me off the bike. I have handle bar risers and some seat modifications that have helped. My old 08 was much more enjoyable to ride. There is a problem I think riding 2up. I will not say more because it would sound insensitive. I hope you enjoy yours and have many long enjoyable rides. Good luck.

Thanks Dodge. I am looking forward to putting a lot of miles on this one. Only time will tell but I am hoping that it is all that I am hoping it will be.

I will with Lopeha on this, and post up the Attendance List in a separate thread under the Main NASR forum, make it easier to find that way. I have the Main NASR forums link in my Signature now, click on that, and you will see all of the threads discussing difference topics related to this year's event.

tnx for the reminder,

.

As of today March 31, 2020 NASR is still a go. The coordinators will keep an eye on how things develop in the coming 6 weeks. We have set a date of May 15, 2020 to make the final decision.

Right now there are 3 options;
1) The quarantines are lifted & things go back to normal & NASR goes on as planned
2) The quarantine is continued past the date & we combine NASR with the MidWest Meet & Greet on Labor Day weekend in Eureka Springs, AR
3) The event is cancelled & we try for next year.

Watch this thread, we will keep you posted with any pertinent information!

Today at the White House briefing they had a chart showing sickness and deaths well into June even if everyone does an excellent job of self isolation. My wife and I are both in the high risk group for 2 or 3 reasons each, and many of our other normal attendees are also in the high risk group simply because of age. At this point I am not planning to attend this get together unless things change from what I currently expect.

Doug,
I am in the same group as you, being a young 78 now.

Andy and I were discussing this earlier today and that resulted in his post.

No one has a crystal ball, but it is not "feeling all that good" to me right now.

After talking with the coordinators & trusted members the decision has been made to postpone the NASR 13 event until June 8-10, 2021. There is just no way of knowing how long this COVID-19 event will last. Granted we may have been able to have it as scheduled but with the border closings & the Shelter At Home orders there was just no way to insure safe, efficient travel for our members. I am working with the host location to have the reservations moved to next year's timeframe. Will keep you posted with any further developments.

As much as all of us “want to get out” and attend this event, it is definitely the right decision. See everyone June 8-10, 2021 in Arkansas!
