Need 1976 GL1000 LTD Muffler

Got this message today - anyone have one they can part with or know where he can get one? Many thanks in advance for your help...



Hey Dave, I have a friend who is in need of a muffler for a 1976 GL1000 LTD goldwing. The bike was his Dad's who passed away a number of years ago and he has been keeping the bike pristine the way his dad did. The only thing he needs is a muffler. I know you hang with some of the Goldwing crew and thought maybe through your connections you might know someone with one for sale.

I'm not sure if they are 76, but I have a one piece muffler set in good shape that had to be off a 76 or 77 no rust holes and fair to good chrome. If it sounds like what you are looking for I'll take some pics. Dana
