Ron, you are right. That is a very knarly looking tire especially for such a low mileage on it. What pressure have you been running in it?
I am using an Avon tire on mine. It has about 8 or 9k miles on it now and still runs smooth and quiet. Still looks very good as far as tread wear. Looks like it will go at least twice that far before it is gone.
