I loved the E3's, averaged 15-18k.
I love the Austone more. Comparable initial cost (or a bit more) but I hope to get 20-30k out of it, runs quieter and more comfortably, much better in rain. I went with it because I love to use the center stand.
But, if yo stay MC tire there are many good ones. Just be sure they can handle the Wing's weight.

And ride it!

Look at it dollars per mile:
The Austone may well last twice as long (or close to it) as the E3. I think Dusty has 25k on his now and I think he said he is about 1/2 worn is all.
That makes it around 90-100$ for the Austone for comparable life of an E3, or around 1/2 the cost over time.
Plus you get awesome rain traction, lower noise, better ride, better weight capacity...

But, if you want to run MC the E3 is tough to beat. Some seem to like the '701' tire (?) or something like that, and it costs less than the E3.

I am nearing 5000 miles on my Austone now (about 4400 miles) and I still have the rubber nubbies between the tread blocks. I am looking forward to the Oregon rainy winter.

Do a quick search to see a picture of Dusty's tire at about 25k. He posted one here a while back.
Just a note - any of the 60 series tires will make use of the centerstand much more difficult. BUT, those tires do cost less and you have several options.
