E3's replacement

Hi everyone and sorry to hijack and resurrect this thread.

I fitted E3's just over 2 years ago and done about 5k miles on them (due to ill health). The front has gone a strange shape and I am not happy to continue to use it for the 2013 season. It has a flat centre piece and 2 angled sides, which can be seen in the pictures (hopefully). Any suggestions on the cause of this wear ?

I am not one for tearing round the "twisties" but like to enjoy the ride at a reasonable speed.

I would like to keep the E3 rear, which is Ok but would like recommendations for a new front please .

I have a Michellin Pilot GT front about 3 years old and with some wear, which I took off when fitting the E3's and wondered if that would be any good ?

Thanks for the prompt reply. I run 40psi on the front and always ride 2 up, although my pillion, Denise, weighs less than 6 stone ! ( however I weigh a lot more ! :ROFL
