I'm sure more will respond... but I will say that is not very many miles on your Wing

for the age... Did it sit for years at a time ?

What is the maintenence history, or at least what have you done to it ?

Thesefacts will be helpful in trouble-shooting your issue

The first thing that I would check is the gas cap to see if it is venting. While it's cold pull the cap and see if you get a sucking sound. I thought that mine had bad gas and then I pulled the gas line from the shut off and ran a line into a can, when I opened the shut off no gas came out, pulled the cap and it ran full stream.

Here is unusual diagnostic tip.
If your cap is clogged you can install rubber "squeeze" pump between tank and pump. If vacuum in tank doesn't let gas go rubber pump will be flat.
I discovered it when ran engine with pet **** closed. I was diagnosing fuel pump.

These kinds of symptoms have always messed with my feeble mind. Two things I would suggest to help diagnose and sort out the 'possibles' from the 'not likely' causes would be: #1 > a compression test, and report the findings so the GURUs can sink their teeth into it...and: #2 > remove the air filter and shoot a short 'puff' of starting fluid (ether-based) down into the air box, while starting it, at idle, and while giving a little throttle...

If the fluid gives a fair sign of improvement, I would focus more on the fuel system. If the compression seems low, you might think about things like 'set' rings, valve clearances... :waving:

I see by looking at your previous posts you have been dealing with the same problem for some time. Have you taken any of the suggestions from before to try to solve the problem?

If you loosen the gas cap and ride the bike like you normally do, does it run better? If it does, then your cap was the problem. The motor won't run if the fuel pump is trying to pull fuel against a vacuum. Also make sure the gas filter is clean.

WF used WD40 to free up his gas cap vent. I used acid on mine and then neutralized it. That is easy stuff to try. Then a fuel delivery test would be good as in the honda manual.
Basically it's time to do a tune up as you check everything. If you have a cruddy gas tank that is clogging, petcock, filter, or carbs, in the end that must be addressed. The tiny filters under the carb needle seat can clog easily.

It did occur to me that somebody posted about fuel filters coming apart on NGW. I know somebody suggested you look at the filter anyway. I've been meaning to replace the filters on my bikes with the ones that don't contain paper elements,I picked up a couple the other day.
