Here is the wiring on the bike:
1. Orange wire is left turn signal.
2. Light blue wire is right turn signal.
3. Orange/white wire is the running light in the left turn
signal.
4. Light blue/white wire is the running light in the right
turn signal.
5. Brown wire is the tail lights.
6. Green/yellow wire is the brake lights.
Note: I am not sure if your rear turn signals work as
running lights or not (like the front turn
signals). They did not on my 1977 Gold Wing.
I installed a fairing with it's own turn signals on my 1977 Gold Wing.
Then I moved the front turn signals to the rear so I could have running lights on the rear. The amber lights really showed up quite well on the rear of the bike.
I had Bates saddlebags with wrap around rails and a Bates trunk on the bike.
