I just got my saddle bags and trunk and all mounting hardware from Aspectone. BUt I was wondering if anyone has mounting instructions and wiring instructions for 82 Goldwing standard model. I swear there was a a manual around. I am sure I can figure out the mounting, its the wiring that always get me.

J W,

Here is the wiring on the bike:

1. Orange wire is left turn signal.

2. Light blue wire is right turn signal.

3. Orange/white wire is the running light in the left turn
signal.

4. Light blue/white wire is the running light in the right
turn signal.

5. Brown wire is the tail lights.

6. Green/yellow wire is the brake lights.

Note: I am not sure if your rear turn signals work as
running lights or not (like the front turn
signals). They did not on my 1977 Gold Wing.

I installed a fairing with it's own turn signals on my 1977 Gold Wing.

Then I moved the front turn signals to the rear so I could have running lights on the rear. The amber lights really showed up quite well on the rear of the bike.

I had Bates saddlebags with wrap around rails and a Bates trunk on the bike.

Rear turn signals on the 81 thru 83 are just turn signals. There is a post on here somewhere on how to add LED running and brake lights to the saddle bags using inline resistors.
