The led flasher unit is an electronic flasher unit that just replaces the original flasher. I haven't seen the flasher unit on a 1200 to know if it's the same as my 1100 or not. Mine just used 2 of the 3 wires the original used. I tried a couple of the round ones from the auto stores and my bike didn't like them so I went with one from the below website and it works just fine for the last 3 months now.

You confused me Bagmaster,it's easy to do, I can't find an led flasher on the above site:(........

I have ordered the all the lights and a turn signal flasher, do I need to replace the emergency flasher also so the rear and front turn signal LED lights could work :?

I would think so. See if it's the same as the turn signal flasher and if it is then order a 2nd one.
