Anybody remember those Windjammers. I could have sworn I saw holes for these 100 degree days. Maybe I should move up North. NAAA, I'd just bitch about the Cold in the winter.

I had an old Windjammer III that had 2 round, pop-out "scoops" from the factory.

Worked well, as I recall.

Can the vents be added. I figured a hole saw, make em smooth and push the deflectors in. If I have to get a whole windscreen fugetaboudit.

I have the Vetter w/holes... not air conditioning be any means, just gives a little air movement...

As far as the cold, I'd rather ride in 50 degree weather than 90, but that's just me...

But I don't have the riding season you have... :(

Here's the same vents used on the Vetter fairings at a lower price than the Vetter website charges for them. These come in 2 sizes.

Vetter charges 30 bucks each for these and this site charges only $14.85 for the same size vents.

Thanks Baggy. I was noticing your last name. I'm a Ward from Winston-Salem originally. Thanks for the info. They say it only feels like 109 degrees outside today.

Johnny, you in Tomball? My friend and I have a small riding group up in the woodlands. We may take a ride to Brazos bend this Saturday.

Lemme know if you are interested.

There is a 1500 windshield vent for sale in the sale forums. I bet you could fit it to your bike!!!

I had the Vetter vents on a full dress CB900 setup, they were worthless. I couldn't feel any air at all from them. I put a set of expensive baker air wings on and they gave me a lot more air. Found out later, same design of air wings, but not baker brand, was on JC Whitney for 40 bucks. I paid 90, DOH. Anyway, when I sold the 900 I kept the wings for the aspy, they work fine but I could still use more air in the summer. Let me know if the windshield vents get you any air in the bubble.

My GL1100 had the Vetter fairing and the round vents and all it ever got me was an annoying whistle when it got up to speed if I left them open and pointed in the wrong direction.

Like a couple others say, you may want to try the wind wings on the side. I've got my second set on my 1200 and would not be without them. Keeps warmer in the winter and pull the air in during the summer. $40
