I don't know why this is happening, But when I changed to 15W40 Delo, I put in 4 Qts, instead or the required 3.4, and my Neutral light started coming on. Well I changed my oil back to Moile1 10 w 40 a few days ago,3.4 Qts,and have rode it only about 4 miles, and the light is going off more and more. I believe after I get a good trip or 2on it, this will clear up the problem. At first, I thought it was not working, but now, I have changed my thoughts about this.Mabye the 4Qt. oil was too deep to keep a goog flush running over the Neutral Switch. I do not know. I will keep you updated.

Why not try some engine flush or Seafoam?

I will do the seafoam on my next oil change in Janaury. I olny had 1000 miles on the 10w40, and iI swapped it out. In January, I hope to be able to afford the filter and oil together, orI will save up until my 2000 miles are up, but I doubt that I will get that many miles in this winter, especially until the end of January.
