Hey guys, I did a search but could not find my particular issue anywhere. The neutral light is working properly when the bike is inneutral and the clutch is released it stays on. However the light comes on regardless ofgear selection everytime the clutch is pulled in. I'm sure it didn't do this last year. Any suggestions on what to look for. It is more of a nuisance than anything to have the light hit you in the face at night when shifting gears. Also I never know if I'm actually in neatral without releasing the clutch. Releasing the cluth just a bit even before the point of engaging will cause the light to go out unless actually in neutral as otherwise stated.

Thanks again,

Paul

There is a diode that prevents that, it has gone bad. It is taped into the wiring harness to the front left of the air cleaner box. I don't know if it is available but you could go to an electronics store and find a substitute.
