This is getting addicting. After looking at other avatars with multiple bikes I realized that I needed more. So I put an add in craigslist looking for a 84 1200 Standard. Yeah, I know there rare. So this Tom calls me and asks if I would be interested in his 86 1200 SEI. He is the original owner, always stored indoors and super low mileage. Tom is 75 y/o and decided the riding days were over. So I gave him my condolences and struck up a conversation about good times on the Wings. So I told him that I really wasn:t looking for a full dresser but lets have coffee and take a look at it. Tom was an awesome guy. This bike had only 15900 miles on it. He wasn:t sure how much he wanted for it, then said I:ll take 3K. We:ll all of a sudden I had a new bike to put in my garage. So not only did I make a new friend, but his baby is now my baby, sort of like an adoption...can:t wait until spring. And O yeah, I can:t part with my 82 1100 Standard.
