Long story short. My neighbor gave me his 1977 goldwing gl1000. For the past few years he has been unable to do his yard work. So I would keep grass cut for him and didnt charge him anything. So Saturday he gave me the bike. It's been outside for 8years and hasnt been started since 2003. Alot of work needed, but the engine does turn over!

Welcome. The 1000s are becoming collectable. That's a good start.
Interesting fairing.

Removed the fairing and sissy bar today. Still have to remove the engine crash bar to get the timing cover off. Slow progress.
