Hello all, I've been on the site for a while but have yet to hit the intro page. So far the information here has been top notch and has helped me a lot with my first restoration project.o_O its been a uphill battle but the learning experience has been priceless. I'm really hoping to make it to the end with my bank account and marriage still intact🤣. That being said does anyone have access to the vector GL1100 logo? Thanks for accepting me, looking forward to sharing pictures of my project.

So, you're not going to tell us what a vector logo is? Hard to help with finding something we don't recognize.
A vector file is an image that uses mathematical formulas to create and render lines, shapes, and curves on a grid12345. A vector file can scale to any size without losing quality and clarity, because the points on the grid can move according to the mathematical formulas345. Some common vector file formats are .ai, .eps, .pdf, and .svg24.
These are used to cut images on a vinyl plotter. I think that's what the OP wants to use it for.
I used to do this when I was working. sure wish I had that plotter now. From what I understand, it's just sitting in a corner gather dust.
This is one of the decals I made for the rear window in my truck.

From what I understand vector is software used to download images. A friend of mine was going to print out the logo on vinyl for me she says if you get the logo downloaded in vector format the image is much clearer. My apologies it’s new to me as well.

It is not a 'download' but a file format that uses vector points that the plotter understands. You downloaded the correct file format. When using the plotter, I had to convert a standard picture file format to a vector file. We had software that could do this. I converted .jpg, .png and bmp files to .AI or .EPS, to use on the plotter software.

You are more familiar than I am. I never heard of vector until I started looking into getting a logo made. Do you have any logos in vector you could send me?

Unfortunately no. When retired I deleted them on the computer at work. Most places that do vinyl plotting can convert a jpeg, png or bmp files though. Or anyone with Adobe Illustrator.

When I retired,
I formatted my Workstation PC hard drive.

I didn't want anything left on there, after I left.

I wanted to that, but, the IT department blocked some functions. That being one of them. I did delete my profile on that software package though. Anyone wanting to use it would have to start from square one.
