yeah I wanted a bike that I could ride with my dad and uncle my dad has a gl1200 and my uncle has a ultra classic so I was looking for a smaller touring bike to start on and my uncle found this for me for 400.00 so I couldn't pass it up as for being an "old person"" bike i don't agree my dad got his gl1200 when he was 23 and i like the style and was looking for more of a bike i could be comfortable on and put miles on rather then just go fast and look cool
