I recently bought a 84 gl1200 with dmv problems for 75 bucks, parting it out and picking up a gl1000 ltd as I have long admired them. I currently ride a 2002 r1 and would like a spare bike for long trips and camping. Basically something to replace my truck, so I may even pickup a hitch and a small trailer :action:
As you can tell from the r1, I like to go fast, and I have a spare turbo(two actually, but they are too big for tt on a 1.2L) and a box of efi parts, so I am planing to see what I can make of them on a stand with the gl1200 motor. Only when I have it running would i swap it into the 77.
